  • Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials.
  • Household data: family size, dietary needs, and housing type — used solely to calculate your personalized plan.
  • Location data: city and region — used to identify relevant local hazards. We never track your real-time GPS without explicit consent.
  • Financial data: optional monthly budget figures used to calculate your financial readiness. We never access bank accounts.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and anonymized analytics to improve the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Generate your personalized emergency preparedness plan and Readiness Score.
  • Send transactional emails (password resets, plan exports, expiry reminders).
  • Process payments through Stripe for shop purchases and donations.
  • Improve platform features based on anonymized usage patterns.

4. What We Never Do

  • Sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Share your household or financial data with advertisers.
  • Display targeted ads based on your preparedness data.
  • Require more data than necessary for your plan.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in encrypted databases hosted on secure servers within the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe: payment processing for shop orders and donations. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare: DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection.
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.

7. Your Rights

  • Export your data in standard formats (PDF, CSV).
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
